The following is from Nick

First off, my name is Nick from Wichita, KS & I’ve been a fan of the wrestlezone website for about 10 years now and I’m always keeping myself posted on the latest news in the wrestling world. I thought the show was decent until the end where Randy Orton missed the punt to Ric Flair’s head. That was SO fake because I watched it live and Flair definitely moved out the way. However, I’m still a WWE fan and I just wanted to note what I saw last night.

Most of the show was a little boring. The best part of the show was Kofi

Kingston
winning the US Title. They should use this to turn MVP heel. I

do not like how they are using Matt Hardy. They had Matt Hardy interfere

in the Edge and Jeff Hardy match at Judgement day, and the WWE has not

gone on with the feud. Matt Hardy needs a fued with someone big. If not

they should have kept him on smackdown. Chavo being john Cena’s partner

killed the match with the Big Show and the Miz. It was predictable that

Legacy would interfere in the parking lot brawl between Batista and

Orton which did not give the encounter an exciting ending. Getting rid

of Kennedy was a big mistake and takes away the chance of refreshing the

Raw brand. Long live smackdown.

I tried to watch it and got an hour out of it and turned the channel.  I found it boring and predictable, and unrealistic.  The wrestling looked real bad and am sure it showed up on HD TV where the punches were way off.

The following is from Chris

Last nights Raw was more entertaining than the last few, but AGAIN, the last Raw before a PayPer View should have more drama AND EXCITEMENT than it did. The story lines have become so stale and they all seem to be way to PG and rehearsed. The star quality is just not there either without Trips or HBK…I never thought I would say this, but I actually enjoy Smackdown more than Raw now. Losing Jericho was a huge loss for Raw, they need to either switch Edge or Jericho back to Raw as those to play the ultimate heels and generally carry the most entertaining story lines. The only one an Raw that draws major heat is Orton, and he cannot carry the show by himself. Something big needs to change, either convert Trips or Batista to a heel, or create a more aggressive fued like they did with Jericho and HBK….I have been a huge Raw fan for many yrs, but I am finding myself looking more forward to TNA on Thursday nights and Smackdown on Fridays than I am Raw. Monday nights are just not the same. Vince better get a better creative team. Raw seems to ONLY appeal to the younger fans than the true long term fans, and while I understand the concept of mass appeal for advertisers and ratings, the true loyal fans are the ones that have been around forever, and we will not stay loyal forever with RAW’s  current product..Bring back at least some of the attitude era, or something like Samoa Joe’s Nation of Violence.
