Torrie WilsonThe following is an excerpt from an article on Trib.com:

Former World Wrestling Entertainment diva Torrie Wilson and nine other "celebrities" will be ceremoniously dumped in the rain-forest jungle of Costa Rica for a month of reality-show high jinks, daring challenges, viewer votes and lots of creepy, crawly bugs. Yummy in your tummy.

"I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!" debuts Monday on NBC and will run 7-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays until its June 24 final verdict.

The other "celebrities" include former NBA player John Salley, MTV reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, "American Idol" loser Sanjaya Malakar, Stephen (not Alec) Baldwin, loony former supermodel Janice Dickinson and actually talented actor Lou Diamond Phillips (hey, what’s he doing here?).

Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was invited to compete, but he’s busy trying to stay out of jail on federal corruption charges.

Wilson lives in a suburb north of Houston and runs a trendy clothing store in The Woodlands called Jaded, which she co-owns with boyfriend and mixed-martial-arts fighter Nick Mitchell [formerly in WWE in the "Spirit Squad"]

"I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!" is a cross between "Survivor" and "Fear Factor." Like Survivor, the "celebrities" will be voted out of the jungle one by one. Like "Fear Factor," they can expect to eat bugs. There were so many bugs on "Fear Factor," the Itsy Bitsy Spider should have been in the closing credits.

When Wilson’s agent called with NBC’s invitation to join "Get Me Out of Here!," her first thought was, "I’m not sure I can do that." After learning how the show works the challenges, the physical demands, the contests and eight-legged cuisine, "It started sounding like fun. I said go for it. I have a feeling there might be bugs crawling over my face at some point on this show."

Wilson and the other contestants will be given a ration of beans and rice to hold them until they can fend foodwise for themselves in the jungle. They’ll be handed a pair of shorts, a couple of T-shirts and a few basic grooming necessities, like soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, and shampoo.

The women get one razor.

She’ll be allowed to bring two bikinis (you’re stunned, right?).

"One razor for 30 days? If you see me wearing a bikini in the beginning, then pants the rest of the time, you’ll know why," she laughed.
