WZ’s “Inbox:” Kane Update, Shoot Interviews, Breaking Point!

I personally feel that TNA should go Extreme. If they did this most of the old school ECW Fans would flock to it for the awesomeness of Extreme wrestling. And only if they did this for just a few months,  they can pull a lot of fans from WWE.

I disagree Josh. I don’t think there are a lot of WWE fans out there who watch WWE for any kind of Extreme programming because there is so little of it left in the company’s current product. So while going Extreme for TNA would bring in the small amount of people out there who do enjoy it, it would alienate the core mainstream wrestling fan who craves a more story line based product.

Hi I know Undertaker and HBK are out with injuries. But the one I do not know about is Kane. Is he out with an injury? If so when is his expected return? Also I’m not sure if it is me and my wrestling watching friends, but it makes no sense to me why CM Punk is Mr. Money In The Bank again. Does he know someone backstage? Or is he really over with the crowd? To me he was a boring WWE Champion. Nothing against him, but I think he is just plain boring? May I get your thoughts on that?

Jim Ross posted the following update on Kane in his blog a few days ago:

“Kane is not AWOL. He is simply has not been appearing on TV lately. He, too, will return likely before Undertaker or HBK and is being counted on to contribute to Friday Night Smackdown. Kane is healthy and could return at any time.”

My guess is that he’s taking a few weeks off to help heal up some minor nagging injuries, but it’s nothing major.

As far as your critique of CM Punk goes, I will say that you are not the only who has ever commented likewise, but you can’t say that the live crowd does not respond well to Punk. Because although he might not get a reaction the level of a Cena, Batista or Jeff Hardy, for instance, he is over with the crowd. Also, there were reports circulating weeks ago that WWE was grooming Punk to take over as a top face on Smackdown should Jeff Hardy not re-sign with WWE, this would explain his winning The Money in the Bank Ladder Match a second time.

Just heard a radio advertisement for Raw in Birmingham, AL this coming Monday saying that the main event will be Randy Orton and The Big Show vs Batista and John Cena.  Thought I would pass this along.  Also I am taking my 9 year old brother on Monday night and have fourth row tickets so if you need any feedback from the show I would be happy to provide this for you.

My guess, Josh, is that if we don’t see that match on TV this Monday night it will be your dark match main event of the evening. Please send us your comments when you get back and we will be sure to post them right here on the site! Thanks!
