TNA iMPACT Spoilers-Weds TV Tapings, Ex-WWE Stars, Injury

Former WWE wrestlers Shawn (Gavin) Spears and Elijah Burke wrestled each other in a TNA dark match on Wednesday, which I assume was a try-out opportunity.

AJ Styles injured his ankle earlier in the week at the TV tapings doing a dive on Shane Douglas, very similar to the spot that injured Evan Bourne at WWE  He had trouble walking on it Tuesday but was walking OK Wednesday, but likely will not wrestle for a week or so at least.   A sprain was diagnosed. 

In the 1st Blood match Samoa Joe defeated Scott Steiner & Booker T making both bleed

Tara (Victoria) defeated Madison Rayne

Raisha Saeed defeated Sojoiner Bolt

In ring spot with Mick Foley, Earl Hebner, Sally Boy, Rocco, then AJ Styles Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle and finally Jeff Jarrett.   Theme is "welcome back Jeffrey" with streamers and ballons and other silliness.  Eventually Mick sets a match AJ Styles & Samoa Joe vs Jeff Jarrett & Mick Foley vs Sting & Angle.  And it appears Earl Hebner has recovered.

Clokwork House Of Fun Match returns with Raven w/ Dr. Stevie vs Jethro Holiday.  Raven wins.  Abyss hits the ring after the match

Matt Morgan calls Sting to the ring.   Morgan wants in the MEM.   Sting says he can join if he can beat Sting at Slammiversary.  As Sting goes to leave Morgan tries to attack him but Sting dodges the attack and Morgan falls out of the ring angered.

Daffney & TNA Knockout Champion, Angelina Love w/Madison Rayne & Velvet Sky lost to  Taylor Wilde & Awesome Kong w/Raisha Saeed. 

Team 3D & Beer Money defeated  Lethal Consequences & Motor City Machineguns.  Beer Money & Suicide were involved.

Mick Foley & Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe & AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle & Sting.  Foley & Jarrett did not get along.   Sama Joe pinned Angle after a muscle buster.  AJ never entered the match because of the ankle injury, Samoa Joe took the tg intended for AJ going into the finish.

ODB w/Cody Deaner pinned Velvet Sky.


Rhino & Jesse Neal defeated The British Invasion.   Rhino pinned Brutus Magnus.
