RAW Opener: Randy Orton, Batista & Vickie Guerrero

Lilian Garcia introduces the WWE champion – Randy Orton. His music hits and out he comes with Legacy and a microphone. They stop at the top of the ramp and the music is cut. Orton says the McMahon’s pride themselves on listening to the audience. Orton then trash-talks the fans in the live arena. Orton calls everyone cowards. He talks about putting an end to the McMahon-era last week and a clip is shown of the injury angle with Shane McMahon on RAW last Monday night. As the clip ends we return and Orton says everyone needs to recognize that the WWE revolves around him. He said and that goes for everyone in WWE too – especially Batista. Orton says earlier today Vickie Guerrero made a no-contact rule for he and Batista until Judgment Day. This means neither can touch the other person until the PPV. Orton then calls down Batista. His music immediately hits and out comes "The Animal". Orton says he’s going to tell Batista something he already knows – he will not win the WWE championship at Judgment Day or any other time. Orton says he wants to give Batista an opportunity to join and become a member of Legacy. Ted DiBiase gets on the microphone and says he knows Batista is still upset about Orton kicking him in the skull, but he should join. Orton talks about when he and Batista were in Evolution. He says the only problem back then was Triple H. He said he took out HHH so they don’t have to worry about that anymore. Orton says if Batista joined Legacy they’d be bigger than the 4-Horsemen, D-X, etc. He says Batista won’t be champion, Orton will, but at least he’ll be on the winning team. He talks about how Arn Anderson was Ric Flair’s right-hand man. Orton says Batista could be the enforcer of Legacy. He asks Batista what he thinks. Batista says it seems like a great opportunity – everything Orton said makes perfect sense. Batista says there is one problem though – he doesn’t like Orton. Batista says he despises him. Batista says he loathes Orton. Batista says he has never been, and will never be, Orton’s back-up. Batista said he’s not here to help Orton, he’s here to hurt him and nothing can be done to stop him. Orton says Batista just made the biggest mistake of his life and he’s lucky there’s a no physical contact rule or else he’d drop him right now. Batista says he’s tired of listening to Orton and Vickie Guerrero and he’s tired of waiting. Batista says he doesn’t think there’s a chance in hell Vickie will call off the main event at Judgment Day, which means there’s absolutely nothing stopping him from destroying Orton tonight. He drops the microphone and goes to attack until we hear the screaching voice of Vickie Guerrero screaming "excuse me" several times. Vickie says she’s waiving tonight’s no physical contact rule. She doesn’t care if Batista and Orton tear each other up. The fans get on her case with chants and she yells "excuse me" again. She says she doesn’t care what condition Batista or Orton is in, the title match will take place Sunday as scheduled. Vickie Guerrero announces it’ll be Batista vs. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes live tonight. If Legacy wins, just like last week, there will be a 3-on-1 handicap match. If Batista wins, Judgment Day comes early as it’ll be Batista vs. Randy Orton one-on-one tonight. Vickie asks Orton to leave the ring because it’s Batista vs. DiBiase and Rhodes next. We go to commercial.
