WWE Touts Rating Success For New “WWE Superstars” Program

An explosive debut for "WWE Superstars"

Last Thursday’s debut of “WWE Superstars” on WGN America took both TV and the Internet by storm, garnering incredibly impressive viewer numbers in both mediums.

The series premiere at 8 p.m. and replay at 11 p.m. on WGN America delivered a combined 1.2 coverage household rating in 863,000 TV households with 1,299,000 total viewers.

Additionally, the “WWE Superstars” page on WWE.com received 6,275,000 page views at the time of this writing, and continues to grow.

“’WWE Superstars’ is a bona fide WWE.com hit,” said Mark Keys, WWE Vice President, Web Production/Digital Media. “The ratings demonstrate that the WWE Universe is embracing the show very quickly.”

“[‘WWE Superstars’] has already become my favorite WWE program,” said Joey Styles, Director of Digital Media Content for WWE.com. “With all three brands represented weekly, ‘WWE Superstars’ feels like a star-studded, weekly pay-per-view.”

“WWE Superstars” airs Thursdays at 8pm east | 5pm west on WGN America.
