More on Kizarny’s WWE Release, JBL: A New “Historic” Moment?

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the release of Kizarny came mostly at the behest of Vince McMahon, who was reportedly unimpressed with his debut on Smackdown brand. Following many weeks of vignette promotion, Kizarny had his first televised match on Smackdown on January 2nd, 2009, and many backstage within WWE, including Vince, were not happy with his ring work. Immediately following the bout, Kizarny’s push was halted, and he was eventuall released from the company.

Interestingly, in a blog which has been deleted from his account, Raw star JBL noted that the history he plans to make at Wrestlemania has nothing to do with the Intercontinental Title. JBL wrote, "This [the IC Title] is not the historic thing I have been hinting at. At WrestleMania, I plan to make history as only JBL can. I continue my pledge that I will shock the wrestling world." The blog did not last long on JBL’s WWE Universe account, however was there for a short period of time.
