What a show last night!
Whether you enjoyed No Way Out or not, you can’t argue the fact that it set up some interesting scenarios as the "Road to WrestleMania" continues. The buzz is in full force at this point and most of these options listed below have already been talked about in some form or fashion. The following are in no way confirmed, but are simple ideas the WWE could present as a result of No Way Out.
Triple H staying on Smackdown or moving to Raw?
Everyone expects Triple H to move to Raw and this is probably the most likely and logical choice the WWE could make at this point. However, don’t count out the possibility that he could stay on Smackdown! and Edge could move to Raw. If you are banking on Hunter to make the jump simply due to the Edge/Vickie storyline and Hunter/Stephanie, I wouldn’t. The women can change shows just as easily as the men can.
Edge staying on Smackdown or moving to Raw?
Cena is supposed to have a rematch clause written in his contract. Cena (or at least another Raw superstar) could regain the title back tonight on Raw. Edge goes back to challenge Triple H at WM and Orton goes on to challenge Cena at WM as originally planned. Simple as that. This "bait and switch" method is definitely not out of the question. I believe there’s going to be a title match on Raw tonight and they may not want to make too many trades this close to the Draft.
If Edge stayed on Smackdown bringing the World Heavyweight Championship over and Hunter moved to Raw, who would challenge Edge at WM? Jeff Hardy? Undertaker? Both of them are supposed to be accounted for with Matt Hardy and Shawn Michaels, respectively. As disappointing as this outcome may be after last night, Edge could very well lose tonight and simply stay put for the time being.
Title Unification?
I highly doubt it, but why not? The two major titles are now on one show. Orton has a right to challenge for either of them at the big event and Cena has a right to face Edge in a rematch if they let the decision stand and Edge remains Champion. Two World Championship matches at WrestleMania 25 obviously seems better than one, but if the one title match is for both of the titles, that’s not necessarily the case.
