We reported yesterday that Thursday’s EWP event, advertising Davey Richards, had been cancelled and that fans had arrived expecting a show only to be disappointed. We noted that there had not only been nothing on their site or myspace page about the cancellation but also still had the event info up as if the show was still on. According to someone close to the situation, EWP and several of the wrestlers sent out messages on myspace all day long about the cancellation, and that it was due to cold temperatures and no heating within the venue.

Fans protested that the Assassins pulled a switch during the match between Assassin #2 & the Pro and Ray Gunkel & Buddy Fuller. Assassin #2 had limped to the ring prior to the match. Assassin #1, who had come to ringside during the bout with no limp at all, and both Assassins were limping to the dressing room following the match.
