WZ Reader Opinions: What Does Flair's Raw Return Mean?

I just want to say that I love wrestlezone, you guys are always on the ball with wrestling news. You asked for our opinions on what Ric Flairs return to Raw means. I think that because Mickey Rourke pulled out of the jericho match, the wwe had to do something for jericho and they decided to let him be a heel by fighting a fan favorite (Flair). Since Flair already will be at wrestlemania for the HOF inductions, it was an easy fit for both the company and Ric. I’m sure Ric was getting the itch to fight one more time, espicially with the movie "the wrestler" and the hype of wrestlemania.

I think he is coming there to challange Jericho for someone.

Meaning I think he will be in someones corner but will not be in the ring himself. Possibly Reid, or doesnt Ricky Steamboat have a kid in training??

What a better way to make your debut huh.

A couple things could happen I think:

1. Flair will confront Jericho on RAW and this will lead to a match at WM 25

2. Flair will confront Jericho on RAW on behalf of Mickey Rouke (or at least make a mention of them being "friends") and this will further push an appearance at WM 25 of Rouke in Ric’s corner

3. Flair will confront Jericho and make a major announcement that Rouke will be at WM 25 in some capacity.

4. Highly unlikely but Rouke vs Jericho in a boxing or bare knuckle fight with Flair and Piper in his corner.

I think Rouke will at least be at Wrestlemaina 25 maybe he will not be fighting at all I could almost see him being there ring side as a Flair/Y2J match takes place and somehow Y2J will bump into Rouke and he will shove Y2J and will cost him his match in someway.

My name is Jay Pike and I think Ric Flairs return next week will be solely on whether he will be inducting Stone Cold or Ricky"The Dragon"Steamboat into the 2009 Hall of Fame. He may have a few things to say to Jericho but I dont believe he will be a part of Wrestlemania 25. He may show up at the event but I dont think he will do anything other than watch it.

I think that Ric Flairs "comeback" to wwe this Monday night on Raw means that he could do a "One last match" for the "legends of wrestling" setting up a match between Ric Flair and Chris Jericho

Also do NOT be surprised if this goes down and Shawn Michaels is apart of it some how, because if you remember Shawn Michaels is the man that put Ric Flair into retirement at last year’s Wrestlemaina, and Ric Flair promised Shawn that the match with him was indeed his last match ever.

This could lead to Ric Flair coming back to the WWE on a part-time basis and MAYBE getting one last title run with a singles belt in the WWE.

That is what I think could happen, dont sell anything short with WWE, because if you look at the match with HBK and JBL at No Mercy its already beginning the set up.

If HBK wins he is a free man from JBL,

With a Ric Flair V.S. Chris Jericho at WM 25

HBK could very easy make a apperence in the match, be at ringside of the match, or be in the match itself, causeing the rively between the two which leads Flair to come back to WWE probley on a part-time basis like I said.

Now I know what your thinking, HBK V.S. Taker for WM 25 right??? Wrong.

Taker is going to be in the Chamber match at No Way Out. Signs point to him going into WM 25 the WWE Champion, who will he face is the question but dont be surprised if it’s HHH.

This is after all WM 25, the biggest thing to hit WWE in a LONG time. WWE is going to pull out ALL the stops for this event, Some surprises may shock us all, but when it comes to Ric Flair, WWE, and WM 25 anything can happen.

Get ready for a wild ride over the course of the next two months, this is going to be a huge rollar coaster ride known as WM 25!

I seriously believe Flair will announce that he is inducting Steve Austin at the HOF this year. I think Flair will let everyone know in his promo that he will never wrestle again, as he has said before. That will lead into the Austin announcement. I don’t think Austin will be there live, but I do believe Jericho will make a challenge to Austin and then he will attack Flair. Flair can either beat him down and chase him out of the ring, or Jericho can beat him down and leave him a bloody mess. Either way it will be the start to a great program.

In respose to the Flair question…could this be the start of the Austin at WrestleMania rumors? Jericho, who seemingly has no opponent, call out people who are in the Hall of Fame…and add to it that Austin is about to be in the HOF…Could make sense at one last match…

Rourke turns on Flair, sides with Jericho, saying Flair is over the hill…washed up…etc. This sets up Jericho?Rourke vs. Flair/Steamboat at WMXXV
