TNA iMPACT Rating Info for 1-29 With Quarter Hour Breakdown

Source:  AC Nielsen

The TNA iMPACT TV show on Thursday, 1-29-09, received a 1.18 Cable Rating on Spike TV, an average audience of 1.6 million viewers.

Quarter Hour breakdown was as follows:

1.19

1.20

1.27

1.22

1.17

1.17

1.07

1.04

TNA peaked at a 1.27 and showed good audience growth in the 1st hour as the Main Event Mafia took over the show and Booker T defeated two referees then Matt Morgan defeated Petey Williams who had one arm behind his back, but the audience eroded badly by the end of the show as Kurt Angle faced LAX, 1 on 2.  Given the peak at 1.27 the drop to 1.04 is not so good.  The Angle/LAX match was promoted earlier in the show when the audience was larger, and by the time it happened the audience was 15-20% smaller, so the 2 on 1 idea was not the "draw" TNA needed for the iMPACT Main Event.
