Nick and Chris at WWE Royal RumbleChris and Nick are live at The Joe Louis Arena in Detroit for tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV! Below are updates they are sending in from the pay per view:

FIRST UPDATE (5:00 EST)

I just received word from Chris and Nick that they can now confirm the Insane Clown Posse and Scott Hall do not have plans to invade the Rumble tonight.  They are in Los Angelos due to filming commitments.  The Clowns had previously stated they were going to be at the Rumble with Hall much like they were at the TNA pay per view a couple of months ago, but that is not the case anymore.

SECOND UPDATE (6:00 EST)

Nick and Chris have taken some photos which can be seen below:

THIRD UPDATE (6:35 EST)

Nick and Chris have confirmed that former WWE and ECW Champion Rob Van Dam is indeed backstage at the Royal Rumble. That will be a nice little suprise for the WWE Universe.

FOURTH UPDATE (6:38 EST)

Nick and Chris have now confirmed that former Intercontinental Champion Umaga is backstage at the Royal Rumble.

FIFTH UPDATE (8:25 EST)

Nick and Chris are now in the arena. Here are some photos:

SIXTH UPDATE (8:36 EST)

Chris and Nick are reporting that a promo package just aired in the arena, and that World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was strongly booed when he appeared in the video.

SEVENTH UPDATE (8:48 EST)

In a dark match, Jimmy Wang Yang defeated Paul Burchill with a pinfall after a moonsault.

EIGHTH UPDATE (10:38 EST)

As many of you have seen, and as Chris and Nick predicted a few weeks ago during the VOW radio show, Matt Hardy cost Jeff Hardy the WWE Championship by nailing him in the head with a steel chair, allowing Edge the easy pinfall…dang.

NINTH UPDATE (11:00 EST)

On a night that is no doubt disappointing for both HHH and Chris Cash, Nick Paglino can sleep with a smile on his face, as his predicted winner for the Royal Rumble has done him proud. Randy Orton has won the Royal Rumble and he will now go on to headline Wrestlemania 25. As a result of this, I, Nick Perkins, will go into my job tomorrow and kick my boss in the head, in an effort to get a raise.
