JBL recently spoke out on the recent string of WWE firings with a post on his WWE Universe account. The statement reads "I can’t tell you how sorry I was to hear some of my good friends are no longer with WWE. It’s just part of life, I know, but that doesn’t make it any better to deal with. I have been here longer than I ever dreamed, and actually right now on top of my game. It’s been a great run, but out-staying the crew you came in with is tough."
In a rare move most likely used to strengthen the reality and seriousness of the bit, WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis made an appearance at the end of Raw last night as the guy who ordered Randy Orton to leave the ring following his attack of Vince McMahon. For those who missed it, he was the first guy to enter the ring and was the one seen in Orton’s face demanding that he leave.
