There was a meeting today of the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission. No votes were held on new regulations, but a sub-committee is being assembled to determine if new regulations are even necessary. As a reminder, Andy Foster of the GAEC will be contacting all promoters who were licensed in 2008 to remind them that, per the current laws, all wrestling promoters who run shows in Georgia must renew for 2009.

NWA Prime Time promoter has cancelled the planned January 16 event due to extremely cold forecasted weather and lack of adequate heating at the Prime Time Arena. Promoter Billy Roper says they hope to run the same card when they return on January 23.
