Prime Time Pro Wrestling Results from 1/9, tryouts coming up and more

ROUND 1 OF THE TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT: Husband and Wife tag team, Micah & Tracy Taylor advanced in the tag team tournament with a win over The Exotic Ones. Tracy got the pin on Exotic Rick who then became furious that he was pinned by a "girl". After declaring that she could never do that again, he climbed back into the ring and Tracy rolled him up into a small package and Exotic Rick was counted out for a second time.

ROUND 1 OF THE TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT: Johnny Swinger & Zero Tolerance advanced in the tag team tournament with some help from their personal referee with a win over Bulldog Raines & Bull Buchanan.

Chip Day and Josh Stone was scheduled as a singles match, but Stone was accompanied to the ring by Colt Derringer and Genni Right and it immediately became a 3-on-1 situation. Shaun Tempers came to the aid of Chip Day and the match was made a tag team event with Josh Stone and Colt Derringer getting the win.

Killer Instinct (Mike Stratus & Jake Slater) were accompanied by their new manager, Chic Donovan, and got the win over Ace Rockwell & Kyle Matthews in a great tag team match-up.

For the Heavyweight Title, Chris Stevens challenged Champion Iceberg and these two great wrestlers fought to a time limit draw. Iceberg told Stevens that he had blown his only opportunity to win the belt and then continued to beat him up after the bell had rung to add insult to injury.

IN THE MAIN EVENT: Sonny Siaki returned to the arena after a three week restraining order was lifted and faced off against Marty Jannetty. Midway thru the match Johnny Swinger made an appearance to help Siaki take out Jannetty, but David Young came to Jannetty’s aid and challenged Swinger & Siaki to a tag match next week. That will be a classic match: Marty Jannetty & David Young against Sonny Siaki & Johnny Swinger!
