It was reported that WWE released former ECW referee Keenan Quinn, who had been working in Florida Championship Wrestling.
It is my understanding that he will not be the only referee released.
WWE stopped branding the refs recently and put all in the traditional white & black stripes, which make it easier to schedule them, but also suggests fewer are needed. Currently ref crews work two week on, two weeks off on average.
