— After rumors that Time Warner cable subscribers could be losing TNAâs home channel Spike TV, it looks like WWE could be severely effected by the cable company as well. Time Warner Cable announced today that it will report its first annual loss in six years after losing approximately $25 billion in assets. Time Warner is jacking up the price of standard cable service, which will affect WWE RAWâs home channel USA Network. “Watching games on ESPN, WWE Raw wrestling bouts on USA Network, or rich-kid antics on MTV’s The Hills is about to cost more as Time Warner Cable raises rates,” reports the Democrat & Chronicle out of Rochester, NY.

— John Cenaâs celebrity status outside of the wrestling world seems to still be increasing, as a Hollywood research firm recently said that the WWE Heavyweight Champ was the fifth most-sought-after celebrity in 2008. Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers and Zac Efron were also in the top 5. Cena was ahead of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Angelina Jolie. Cena continues to act as the public face of WWE, speaking exactly what Vince McMahon wants him to say in order to convey his vision of the WWE brand to the world.

— Hereâs a little trivia note: WWE (ECW brand) diva Tiffany is currently dating Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Will Smithâs cousin Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
