The Town Talk Newspaper out of Louisiana is reporting that Jeff Hardy was advertised for the Alexandria Smackdown house show but failed to appear. To make up for the absence, WWE ran an Undertaker vs Big Show Steel Cage Match as the show’s main event. PWInsider.com is now reporting that Jeff Hardy DID have permission from WWE to miss the house show as he was called to appear at the Raw/ECW taping this past Monday night. So although Hardy did miss the event, it was not a “No Show” as some sites have been reporting. He was in fact called elsewhere by WWE officials.
