Some information has become available regarding the recent announcement of a new WWE program to air on WGN. WWE Superstars, as the show is titled, is set to debut in April, and will be broadcast weekly on Thursday nights at 8:00 PM ET, with replays later that night and the following weekend. The show will be featuring first-run programming.

Although no official announcement has been made by either company, it appears Christian Cage is indeed leaving Total Nonstop Action for a return to WWE. His profile has been removed from the TNA website, which is the most significant sign that he has made his decision. Cageâs contract with TNA expired more than a month ago after renegotiation attempts stalled. Cage has held his decision close to the vest, with many of his closest of friends saying they couldnât report his decision either way, even off the record. There have been reports today that Cage was seen arriving at the New Orleans Arena, where tonightâs RAW/ECW is being held.

The final overall rating for Thursdayâs edition of TNAâs iMPACT was 1.0.

The following information in regard to birthdays and memoriams has been compiled from various sources. In the event you can let us know of any omissions or corrections, please email to contributions@georgiawrestlinghistory.com.

Todayâs Birthdays: Bull Buchanan (1968)
