GCW Raises $1000 for SickKids Hospital
Great Canadian Wrestling thanks all supporters – fans and superstars – for their help in raising over $1000 for SickKids Hospital as part of GCW Season’s Beatings charity show on Saturday, December 27 in Oshawa, Ontario. This was the company’s third annual Holiday Charity event and is proud of the overwhelming response and support received for this great cause. Thank you.
‘The Ugandan Giant’ Kamala coming to New Year’s Evil
WWE Legend Kamala makes his return to Great Canadian Wrestling and will be in action at the New Year’s Evil event in Oshawa, Ontario on Thursday, January 8, 2009. Plus, fans have been watching the bitter feud between “the Cock of the Walk” Otis Idol and Cody Deaner build, and it’s just heating up! In addition, Brad ‘Freakin’ Martin puts his Ontario Independent Championship on the line against Hayden Avery, and The House of Virtue, Sebastian Suave and Andrew Davis, put their Tag Team titles on the line against the young team of Tyler Tirva and Josh Alexander.
Kamala to Sing at ‘Oblivion! The Indy Wrestling Album’ CD Release Party
GCW, ThaOshow and OntarioIndyWrestling.com present OBLIVION! : The Wrestling Show, Awards Night and CD Release Party event on Friday, January 9, 2009 in Toronto, Ontario. Dangerboy Derek Wylde returns for one night only to battle Tyson Dux, plus Ontario Hardcore icons, Notorious TID and Bloody Bill Skullion, in a steel cage. Musical guests will be performing live entrance themes from the new album release. Lastly, the OntarioIndyWrestling.com Awards ceremony will take place, featuring such categories as Wrestler of the Year, Match of the Year and Gimmick of the Year.
GCW Set to Invade Port Perry, Ontario
Great Canadian Wrestling makes their debut in Port Perry, Ontario on Saturday, January 10, 2009, presenting Ugandan Invasion II. WWE Legend ‘The Ugandan Giant’ Kamala will be in action along with the rest of GCW’s top superstars.
