Smackdown taping for 1/02/09
Dark Match- R Truth d. R. Braddock, the crowd was solidly behind R. Truth
Vickie Guerrero kicked off show to talk about the Royal Rumble, she was heavily booed, HHH came out to make fun of her to a tremendous pop.
Finlay & Khali d. Ryder & Hawkins, the crowd was chanting “Khali” throughout the match
Ezekiel Jackson & The Brian Kendrick d. Jesse & Festus, the crowd was behing The Brian Kendrick for this one
V. Kozlov d. Hurricane Helms, many “boring” chants during this match
Michelle McCool then continued her heel turn by beating down on Eve
Kizarny d. MVP, the crowd actually was booing Kizarny and cheering for MVP
Hardys d. Edge & Big Show, Big Show left Edge by himself making it a 2 on 1, the crowd was cheering mostly for the Hardys, however, there were some “Edge” chants.
Smackdown Taping for 1/09/09
HHH kicked off the show in his first of three matches for the night.
HHH d. John Morrison in a tables match, interesting note: the ending of this match was botched as HHH threw Morrison of the top rope onto a table on the outside, but the table did not break. They, however, did it again and got it right the second time.
Undertaker d. Shelton Benjamin, crowd was heavily behind Undertaker who at the end was limping significantly on his left leg, however this is probably a work
Bella Twins d. McCool & Victoria, McCool was booed during this match, afterwards McCool beat down on Victoria
HHH d. Chavo & The Miz, Chavo left the Miz alone and allowed HHH to pick up the win
MVP’s VIP lounge with Ken Kennedy, Kennedy plugged his dvd by saying it was available now, however there were chants in the crowd saying, “It’s not out yet” which will probably be edited out
Carlito & Primo b. Ezekiel & Kendrick to retain the WWE tag titles, once again the crowd was chanting for the Brian Kendrick
Big Show d. HHH in a Last Man Standing Match to end the show, crowd was behind HHH the entire match
POST Dark Match
Jeff Hardy d. Edge to retain the WWE Championship after hitting the Swanton Bomnb, crowd was behind Hardy, however, some were once again chanting “Edge”.

Overall the Crowd was lively, but not as lively as it would be for a raw or PPV would be in the IZOD Center. The reason being there were many more kids in attendance than there normally would be at a Raw or PPV.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
