ROH Meets With HD Reps, WWE Troops Show Update

Nick Paglino

Ring of Honor taped their latest PPV this past Saturday in Chicago Ridge, IL and PWInsider.com is reporting that representatives from HDNet were in attendance. ROH owner Cary Silken brought in some upgraded production for the PPV with hopes of striking some kind of deal that will see the company work with HDNet. With better production value and a hopeful HD outlet, Silken feels ROH has a much better chance of landing a future TV deal.

On December 1st, Raw superstars John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and CM Punk are all scheduled to fly out to Washington, DC to promote WWE’s annual Tribute to the Troops show, which will emanate this year from Baghdad, Iraq. Although it appears as if only Raw superstars are traveling to DC, we have not received any word that only the Raw brand will be represented on the actual Troops show.
