As those of you who have visited Wrestlezone.com over the last several months are aware I’ve published stories on deadbeat promoters, guys who still in nearly all cases owe talent money, and have made no effort to pay. That’s wrong.
There are also stories of wrestlers taking fees and no showing, or double booking themselves, and that’s wrong too.
This is not one of those stories.
Former ECW/WWE/WCW/TNA star Raven was confirmed for PWA in Edmonton for a show on November 28. The promoter sent a deposit to Raven. When it came time to book flights, Raven realised he had made a mistake and could not get to Edmonton for the show, so what did he do??? He returned the deposit. He did the right thing, the professional thing.
When Raven sent me the check I learned even more. I learned Raven uses Alice Cooper checks, and that under his address in the upper right hand corner he has printed “You Should See A Shrink”. So not only does he do the right thing, but he offers advice too in the process.
