Looks like Eric Young’s X-Division Champion run may be one day (or one TV week), as I’m hearing the decision may be reversed because the referee Shane Sewell (Glamor Boy Shane) was so involved in the match.
This would be the second time Eric Young had a title taken away if it happens. 1st time was the Tag Team Title. Not sure how this helps Eric who already went from the guy scared of pyro, to the fake superhero comedy guy, to the brave guy ready to fight for TNA, to X-Division Champion to……
TNA creative has been planning a ref to wrestler angle for Shane for quite a while, but put if off when he had work visa issues. Now it appears back on, even though I understand Shane would rather stay a ref.
If he feuds Basir, get ready for “USA, USA” chants for Shane. By the way, he’s Canadian.
