The Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission will meet tomorrow to once again discuss tighter regulations on the promotion of professional wrestling in the state of Georgia. At the last gathering in August, it was stated that the next session would be a serious attempt at finally resolving the issues. As soon as we know the outcome of tomorrowâs events and how it will affect the business for existing promoters, we will bring it to you.

Southern Extreme Championship Wrestling results from the October 11 event in Bremen, GA: “The Local Scene” Josh Storm defeated Seth Cruise. “The Golden Boy” Chick Donovan defeated Jay Clinton. Brian Alexander defeated Micah Taylor. “The Hawaiian Princess” Tracy Taylor defeated “Beautiful” Genni Wright. Frankie Valentine defeated Kyle Matthews by count out. Rob Adonis defeated Bull Buchanan to become the #1 contender for the SECW championship. Brad Armstrong & Bulldog Raines defeated “Hot Dog Boy” Josh Stone & SECW champion Colt Derringer. Spanky Emerson, Ricky Spears & Shawn Cooks were the referees. Attendance was 185. The next show is at the Bremen Rec Center and Sports Complex on October 23.

Championship Wrestling results from October 11 in Kingsport, TN: TV Champion Chase Owens defeated Wayne Adkins in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match. Ricky Morton defeated the Jin. AWA World Heavyweight Champion Brian Logan defeated Nick Hammonds in a non-title Match. Steve Fury & Bobby Eaton (subbing for Chris Richards) defeated Moe Jenkins & Beau James in a Street Fight. After the match, Fury’s manager John Hawkins told Eaton that he was no help and that Fury had won the match by himself. Fury then attacked Eaton until Ricky Morton made the save. Morton said that in the 25 years that he and Eaton had feuded, he had learned to respect him and that he wasn’t going to let Hawkins disrespect him. Tony Givens won an “Escape from the Cage” Battle Royal to retain his #1 Contendership for the AWA World Title. Robbie Cassidy defeated National Heavyweight Champion Alyx Winters in a Steel Cage Match to win the title.

NAWA Ring Champions returns to the historic Purks Building (330 West Ave.) in Cedartown, GA, on November 1. The fun begins at 7pm with Jon Morton, son of Ricky Morton, live in concert. Advertised matches include: The longest reigning tag team champions in NAWA history, the Exotic Ones (Rick Michaels & Simon Sermon) vs. The Rock ‘n Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson), Nigel Sherrod has raised his challenge to $2500 to anyone in the dressing room that can defeat him, Loser Must Wear A Dress: Bulldog Raines vs. “Rock Solid ” Josh Stone, Movin’ On Up the Card: Stupid (with Tweety) vs. Josh Hate. Will Stupid remain undefeated? Terry “The Rocker” Lawler vs. “Skinny” Kenny Arden, Thunder & Lightnin’ vs. Phillips & Hall. Air Paris and Billy Love are also on the card. Bell time is 7:30pm. Jason Blackman defeated J.D. Jackson. Shane Bell & Chris Spectra defeated SVW champion James Boulevard & Jake Sanders.

United States Wrestling Organization / ATL Wrestling results from the Stadium Inn in Nashville, TN, on October 11, where reported attendance was 38: Cousin Jason X & Psycho Medic & Michael Jablonski beat Josh Crowe & Davey Wright & Crazy 8’s (with Ronnie Vegas) when Medic pinned 8’s. Richard Lowe (with Lekisha) beat Shawn Hoodrich. L.T. Falk beat Kevin Dunn (with Lekisha) by DQ when Lowe ran in and attacked Falk, who was saved by Tony Falk. Chris Norte & Dominator beat Travis Starr & Steven Green when Norte pinned Starr. Kid Dynamite (with Ronnie Vegas) beat Anthony Wayne. Michael Jablonski beat Tim Renesto by DQ after Renesto hit ref Boogie. Derrick Neal & White Tiger beat Richard Lowe & Kevin Dunn (with Lekisha) to win the ATL Tag Team Championship when Tiger pinned Lowe. Tony Falk announced that Farron Foxx would be at the Stadium Inn next Friday and Saturday.

The results of the October 4 Dirty South Pro Wrestling event from Brewton, AL: Kage defeated Damon Black. Deacon Stone defeated Romeo by DQ. XW2000 defeated AB3 to retain the cruiserweight championship. “Minister” Zachery Johnson defeated “Hotstuff” Heathy P. Gothic Warrior w/Mistress defeated Everqueen McQueen. DJ Pringle defeated Johnny Wayne. Gino Galento & CZR w/Col. Tex Galento defeated Forsaken & Rebel w/ “Silver Foxx” Bobby Wilson. Due to stipulations, the winning team received $500 and Wilson was put in a dress. The next event is at the National Guard Armory in Brewton, AL, on November 1.

The upcoming Peachstate Wrestling Alliance event will be on October 18 at the Recreation Center in Bremen GA. Matches advertised: Consequences Creed vs. Jimmy Rave.
