TNA’s Director Of Touring, Rich Baker, Leaves TNA, Joins NWA

NWA Executive Director, Bob Trobich, recently entered into an agreement with former TNA Director Of Touring, Rich Baker. Baker will have a similar position with the NWA and will be seeking NWA house show deals with buildings nationwide.

Rich Baker was with WWE prior to joining TNA. At TNA he dramatically increased the number of house shows for the company. He left the company when TNA required that he move to Nashville. Baker lives in Connecticut, and he and his wife did not want to move. I had the pleasure of working with Rich at TNA, and he is a tremendous acquisition by Trobich and the NWA.

The NWA promoted various events over the last year at larger facilities such as Phillips Arena in Atlanta, shows contracted by David Marquez, the NWA Member in California and Producer of the on again/off again NWA Showcase TV Show on the Colors Network.

Bob Trobich is positioning the NWA for controlled growth, adding house shows, cooperating in NWA Title angles with ROH, expansion into Mexico with shows promoted by Blue Demon, and returning to production of the Showcase TV show in mid-September with production partner, Big Vision Entertainment.
