How Edge Escaped From Fire Incident, Mick Foley/WWE Update

I received quite a few live reports from SummerSlam and quite a few made reference to crew members coming down to the ring wheeling a big black box after the pay per view went off the air. They set the box next to the ring and then wheeled it back. An “Edge” change started taking place as those that stayed in the arena realized the crew was picking up Edge from underneath the ring. I’m sure he simply went to the other side of the ring when he was thrown through the canvas landing underneath the ring. A huge fire ignited shortly after as the Undertaker looked on and the pay per view went off the air.

Mick Foley had told friends that he would be appearing at SummerSlam a couple of weeks leading up to the pay per view, reports ProWrestling.net. The original plan was for Foley to appear on the show as part of the Edge/Undertaker match, but apparently, the idea was scrapped for whatever reason. Foley’s contract expires this month and although something could always happen between now and then, it seems like a lock at this point that Foley will not be renewing his contract. Quite a few people are speculating that Mick will head to TNA, but that is definitely not confirmed at this time.
