JR Speaks On Working For TNA/ROH, Foley Leaving WWE, More

Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section of his website which can be found at JrsBarBQ.com. Ross discusses a number of topics including CM Punk losing momentum, OVW on WWE 24/7, and Jim Cornette returning to WWE. Below are some highlights from the blog:

Ross on whether he’d consider working for TNA or ROH if he left WWE: “Not likely in all due respect to the two aforementioned organizations as I would focus on our restaurant business and spend more time with family, friends, and football.”

Ross on speculation that Mick Foley could be headed to TNA: “This story is yet to be told as Mick is still under contract to the WWE until September 1. Nonetheless no matter where Mick goes in the wrestling world he will always be branded a WWE Superstar. Mick doesn’t want to wrestle much if any going forward and as his friend I hope that he doesn’t. Mick’s body has been ravaged and for any promotion to want to put Mick Foley in the ring on a regular basis is ill-conceived. Bottom line, whatever makes Mick happy will be fine with me at the end of the day and I have enjoyed broadcasting with him a great deal.”

Ross on the possibility of Trevor Murdoch returning to WWE: “One can never say never. Murdoch is a good guy and has talent. He burned no bridges that I am aware of when he left. There is no overabundance on skilled in ring talents such as Trevor Murdoch out there waiting to be hired. Murdoch should not have any issues finding work. I personally wish him well.”
