Jesse Ventura Pitches A Presidential Campaign Angle

Prowrestling.net is reporting that Jesse Ventura was a guest on the Howard Stern radio show this morning. Ventura discussed many topics including a wrestlers union, Hulk Hogan pimping his children on TV, politics, 9-11 conspiracies and more. Furthermore, he discussed entertaining the idea of running for president and actually thought it would be a good idea to kick off his campaign at Wrestlemania. I am not entirely sure if this idea was meant to be a gag or he was actually serious about it, but Ventura went on to describe one of the most asinine campaign ideas I have ever heard of. He basically pitched the idea of WWE creating a WWE political party, which would then have to nominate a presidential candidate. Vince would announce himself as the candidate and then Ventura and him would feud for the position. The angle would end with Jesse beating Vince for the candidacy at Wrestlemania, and then going on to officially run for president on the WWE party bill.

Suddenly Mike Adamle as General Manager doesn’t seem so odd.
