Thanks to PWInsider.com for the following: The Sandman returned to the ring on Saturday after spending four days in jail. He wrestled and defeated Jake “The Snake” Roberts in Philadelphia for Pro Wrestling Unplugged.
Speaking of Sandman, Big Vision Entertainment (production company responsible for the Wrestling Society X promotion that didn’t last on MTV) is releasing a “Last Call” shoot interview with the Sandman and Raven. The setting for the interview? Appropriately…a bar.
Pro Wrestling Syndicate is teasing an Amazing Red return on their August 30th event in Hempstead, Long Island. However, Red’s booking agent, Bill Behrens, released the following refuting the return rumors:
“Red is not confirmed for anyone at this time. When he is ready to return I’ll be assisting him with bookings. He has accepted no booking at this time, and should not be promoted. He and his wife recently had their second child and his work schedule has him home for only 8 hours at a time most days. When that changes he plans to work out in the ring then decide how and when to return. I wish promotions would stop promoting him in any fashion.”
Former TNA Tag Team Champions, The Naturals – Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens – are not working together as a team anymore on the independent circuit.
