In the dark match after RAW this week, Batista squashed CM Punk with a spinebuster for the 3-count in approximately one minute.
A correspondent at the event noted that Kane seemed to receive more crowd reaction than Punk did before their match during the live show, and fans were behind Batista during the dark match main event. Of course this was only a dark match, and it might not be worth reading into it too much regarding the future of Punkâs main event push.
