Victory Road Notes, Joe Or Sting Turning Heel, Kaz Hurt, More

The idea for the finish on last night’s Victory Road pay per view was not to necessarily try and turn Samoa Joe or Sting heel. TNA knew that Joe would already have the heat on him being that it was in Booker’s hometown of Houston. The finish was simply to prolong the feud between the two adding Sting into the mix.

The fans that participated in the “Fan’s Revenge Match” between Beer Money and LAX were actually fans from Houston, with the exception of one that was flown in after winning a Youtube contest that TNA put on. Local radio stations held contests leading up to the pay per view and the winners go to be apart of the match.

In addition to Devon being injured during the ppv, Kaz’s hip was apparently hurting backstage. One could assume it was from the huge leg drop he landed on Daivari. We’ll keep you updated, but it isn’t expected to be serious.

A few people have emailed in some live reports from Houston and each said that Booker T had the biggest pop of the night by far, which was to be expected. However, TNA’s audio wasn’t working very well and it was hard to hear how rowdy the crowd was due to the difficulties.
