Ashley Massaro Update, Original Murdoch Plans, SD Losing Affiliate

It’s still speculation and a little skepticism at this point as it pertains to Ashley Massaro’s recent request for a release. WWE has proven to be pretty understanding with family matters and allowing time off, so her asking for a release leads some people to think it could be due to other reasons. I have no idea whether the Rolling Stones escort fiasco had anything to do with this, but I get a lot of emails about the timing of it being right. Meltzer also reports that the current Mickie James push was originally slated for Massaro.

The surprise of Trevor Murdoch being released is still just that as no definite word has been given as to why. The fact that he just moved over to Smackdown via the draft on Michael Hayes’ request simply adds to the story. Murdoch was slated in upcoming house shows against MVP and apparently, a possible pairing between the two was talked about with a good chance for comedic skits and such. Those close to Murdoch say he’s in good spirits and as I mentioned earlier, he has agreed to do an interview with us once his non-compete clause expires.

WrestleZone.com reader, Chris Mattson, sent in the following link that supports the story of Chicago’s WGN replacing Smackdown with Alf reruns. The following is the upcoming schedule of the station. You can view it HERE.
