Most TNA officials are pleased that Samoa Joe is the centerpiece of the company as its world champion due to the amount of talent the young athlete has. However, some critique his drawing power based on his physical appearance which is definitely not a traditional pro wrestling look. While there appears to be no immediate danger of Joe dropping the title, some backstage are concerned that his looks may be holding him back.
Believe it or not, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal originally pitched an idea to have The Iron Sheik come out as a rapper and perform Booker T’s introduction against Samoa Joe at Victory Road this Sunday. Personally I think that would be hilarious. The Sheik rapping would sound like a hyena having a seizure.
