It’s been reported that Jeff Jarrett was recently approached by TNA officials to return to the ring in light of Kurt Angle’s recent injury. Although Jarrett is expected back in the ring prior to TNA’s UK tour in January ’09, he opted not to return to the ring at this time.
Booker T has apparently been frustrated with the direction in which he has been booked recently in TNA. His main frustration seems to lie with Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel, however, things seem to have smoothed over since his character turned heel. Booker was reportedly also upset over catering and flight accommodations during TNA’s recent tour of England.
I actually enjoyed his character more when he debuted in TNA because it has been a while since we’ve seen Booker as a face. His present heel character seems too reminiscent of his King Booker gimmick from WWE.
