FAN SLAM: LIVE!

WrestleZone.com has teamed up with promoter, Tommy Fierro, and Fan Slam Wrestling’s 15th anniverary Fan Festival Convention in Totowa, NJ to present “Fan Slam: LIVE!”. WZ will be on site at Fan Slam offering live video coverage all day Saturday, June 21st, from 10:00am-5:00pm EST, exclusively here on WrestleZone.com. If you are not in the area and unable to make it to the event, here’s your opportunity to be apart of this unbelievable afternoon from the comfort of your own home. The best part is it’s 100% FREE!

“FAN SLAM: LIVE!” will be hosted by WrestleZone.com’s Chris Cash with regular appearances from Voice of Wrestling co-host, Nick “The Man of 1000 Names”, and former WWE announcer, Kevin Kelly! Catch interviews with the stars of the event, live giveaways for those watching from home, interaction with the fans in attendance, and much more! Never has coverage like this been available to wrestling fans before, so make sure you take advantage of this unbelievable event!

Chris Cash encourages WrestleZone.com fans to help make this event spectacular, simply by visiting the site the day of the event and watching the live feed. “We are trying to offer the first of many unique experiences here on WrestleZone.com,” he explains, “and are more than willing to do a lot more in the future if WZ visitors make this first attempt an amazing success”. Other ideas have been discussed for future event coverage on WrestleZone.com and “Fan Slam: LIVE!” is simply a trial run to see how well it’s going to go over with the fans of the site.

Tommy Fierro, promoter of the event, is excited about the possibilities that could result from this historic stepping stone in wrestling coverage. “Typically, if you’re not in the area of a local convention, you are simply left out unless you spend more money than everyone else on travel or DVD’s,” Fierro said, “but this is an opportunity to take a local fan festival to a national level live on the Internet for free; you simply haven’t had this in the past”. A complete line-up of that day’s activities will be posted on WrestleZone.com in the weeks to come so you can pick and choose what times you want to be online during the day of the event.

“Fan Slam: LIVE!” will offer live interviews with the guests of the event, including former WWE superstar, Al Snow, Daivari, Scott Taylor (formerly “Scotty Too Hotty”), TNA’s Tomko, Nick Dinsmore (formerly WWE’s Eugene), Bill DeMott, JJ Dillon, Kevin Kelly, John Cena, Sr., Samu of The Head Shrinkers, Axl Rotten, and many more! Other vendor guests include WWE’s Howard Finkel, Jerry Jarrett, Balls’s Mahoney, TNA Knockouts, Awesome Kong and Angelina Love, Missy Hyatt, Crowbar, and Nicole Bass! Live giveaways will also be offered to fans watching live online at WrestleZone.com!

WrestleZone.com exclusive, Kevin Kelly, recalls a time he covered WrestleMania XVII in Houston live on WWE.com. “We went live online for 17 hours that weekend with lots of interviews,” he said, “it was a huge success and everyone had a blast”. He feels “Fan Slam: LIVE!” will be just as fun and successful. “Where else are you able to sit at home and watch live coverage of a wrestling event for free on a local level? I really hope fans take advantage of this so we can do more things like it in the future”. Kelly will be hosting the “Wrestling Jeopardy” contest at Fan Slam where fans battle it out answering a series of questions to see who knows their wrestling history the best!

Fan Slam Wrestling’s 15th Anniversary Fan Festival Convention will be held at the Hoiday Inn in Totowa, NJ on Saturday, July 21st, from 8:30am-5:00pm. “Fan Slam: LIVE!” will broacast live and exclusively on WrestleZone.com that Saturday. The feed will start up at 10:00am EST and will end at 5:00pm EST. Links to the live video center will be posted in the upcoming weeks that will include the video stream, an interactive chat room, and a line-up of that day’s events and activities.
