The following news was derived from Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. You can obtain subscription information at WrestlingObserver.com.

– Bret Hart’s recent appearance at Florida Championship Wrestling was nothing planned. Hart was down in Florida visiting a friend from TNA (which started many rumors that he would be appearing on Impact) when Nattie Neidhart asked him to appear. According to Meltzer, Hart enjoyed the visit.

– There is no longer any talk of WWE branching out into Mixed Martial Arts.

– Kevin Thorn is now based in Tampa working with FCW. He is back to using the Kevin Thorn gimmick. He was previously in OVW and they had changed his name and gimmick to where he used his real name of Kevin Fertig.

– Mick Foley will be going on next week’s tour of Mexico as Randy Orton’s replacement. As we reported earlier, Orton request some time off due to being burned out.
