— The Times Of India ran an article this week saying that The Great Khali is still an official member of the Punjab police department. The Punjab Armed Police, who recruited him in 1994, put him on âextended leave without payâ so he can wrestle with WWE and still have the possibility to go back to his job with the police later on. ADGP Rajan Gupta of Punjab Armed Police said, “I don’t think there is anything wrong in extending his leave. He is an asset to the department and an exception can always be made.”
