Floyd Mayweather Jr. adivsor Leonard Ellerbe told Yahoo! Sports that Wrestlemania XXIV is going to project as toping last year’s 1.25 million worldwide buy numbers for Wrestlemania XXIII. Ellerbe stated that WWE won’t release the early projections until next week.
Vince McMahon gave Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels rolex watches. Both watches were inscribed with “24,” with Flair’s saying “To Be the Man,” and HBK’s saying “You Gotta Beat the Man.” Classy move by Vince.
The Flair Tribute overrun segment on Raw Monday night scored a 4.7 rating.
