WWE’s creative team was told to come up with ideas to incorporate Stone Cold Steve Austin into WrestleMania XXIV. Two ideas that were discussed were a match with Hulk Hogan znd Austin being the spcial guest referee for the Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather match. It is unknown whether either idea was actually pitched to Austin, but he wont be doing either. He is expected to attend the Hall of Fame Ceremony, so there is still a chance he could appear at WrestleMania.

Pittsburghlive.com has an article online today about a WWE tie-in possible with the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. WWE has contacted rookie forward Tyler Kennedy about the possibly of him meeting Ken Kennedy. According to the article, there is a chance that they will film a segment of Ken Kennedy to be shown on the video board after Tyler Kennedy scores. Ken Kennedy’s catchphrase was also blared through the Mellon Arena speakers after Tyler Kennedy scored Sunday against the Philadelphia Flyers. I’m sure they would also do a superstar-to-superstar WWE.com interviews as well.

WWE.com has posted details on this year’s Bacon, Bagels, and Biceps Brunch occurring the morning of WrestleMania.
