  • It was a big day for Vince McMahon as the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a ceremony this morning which started at 11:30AM PST. McMahon was among other 17 individuals who were nominated for 2008 and he was placed in the Television category. The star – the 2,357th on the Walk of Fame – is located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., next to Hollywood and Highland, near the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. His son Shane and son-in-law Triple H spoke at the ceremony. Vince had to pay a $25,000 fee towards the Hollywood Historic Trust after being chosen. It’s not like that sum of money will leave a large hole in his pocket anyway! In their update for the press, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce listed today’s ceremony with the headline ‘Smack down on the Boulevard’. (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)
