  • WWE will put tickets for this yearâs SummerSlam on sale on Saturday, March 8th. The event will be held on August 17th at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The tickets will range from $30-$300.
  • Mike Johnson is reporting that the Florida Championship Wrestling weekly television series will air on the Tampa CW Network. According to Johnson, the debut TV taping has been pushed back until after WWEâs WrestleMania pay-per-view.
  • There is a story on LiveMint.com that says that the biggest story of the month on Hindi news channels was the rise of The Great Khali in WWE.
  • Fomer Nasty Boy Jerry Sags stated that he is accepting the open challenge of MMA fighter “Green Dragon” Jason Pharo.
  • Former WWE superstar Psicosis (Nicho in Mexico) did a recent interview and said he is hopeful of getting into CMLL. L.A. Park is attempting to bring him in. Psicosis, 36, said he left AAA because they weren’t paying him enough for the kind of matches they wanted him to do.
  • The “American Gladiators” scored a 3.2 broadcast rating for the final episode of the season on 2/17.
  • They are doing more casting in search of new gladiators. The word is that they aren’t happy with the personalities of some of the male gladiators, and are looking for more “over the top” type personalities.
  • WWE Diva and Playboy covergirl Maria will be signing her Playboy issue next week in New York City. She will be at the Times Square Virgin Megastore next Thursday March 6th at 12 noon. She will also be making a special appearance at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone restaurant on Wednesday from 6 PM – 8:30 PM and they are doing a deal where she will have dinner with a fan. Maria’s Playboy issue hits newsstands next Tuesday. WWE will be uneviling the cover next week on RAW.
