Is Austin Pissed At Sharkboy Rip-Off Gimmick?, London, HHH

Ryan Clark

Steve Austin recently commented on the current TNA Sharkboy rip-off: “I’ve heard about it. It doesn’t anger me. If a guy is able to make a living on a rip-off, a spoof, making fun of me, whatever. I’m still with WWE. More power to him.”

L Anne Carrington also sent this in: As of 2/12/08, Paul LondonĂ¢<80><99>s profile on the Acclaim Talent website that is based in Austin, TX, no longer exists. Upon double checking, he is no longer listed on either the general talent, commercial/editorial models or the Hispanic models pages. It is likely that the company either dropped him or he did not re-sign with them.

WWE released a compilation DVD on “Stone Cold” Steve Austin this week and it features the match between him and Triple H at Survivor Series 2000. Chris Benoit played a role in getting the action from inside of the arena to the parking lot. When these segments occur, the Survivor Series logo is suddenly shown and the match skips to the part without Benoit. This happens twice during the match on the DVD.

Samoa Joe is described as being “locked up, long term” with TNA through 2010 or 2011. There were also similar reports making the rounds about Team 3D’s status with TNA. Despite reports stating otherwise, the team is signed with TNA through September 2008.
