Backstage RAW Notes: Big Mistake, 2 Big Returns, & More

Ryan Clark

WWE taped two weeks of RAW this week from the Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. It is interesting to note that the company was still taping the show as the tape began on the USA Network. Thus the show aired on tape delay. WWE actually screwed up â<80>” during the opening videoâ<80><99>s of RAW, you could not hear the correct audio, we instead hear the LIVE feed from the arena, which was J.R. and King commentating a match between Jeff Hardy, JBL, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and others.

Jim Ross announced that the RAW tapings were sold out with an official attendance figure of 13,562.

Both Lance Cade and Paul London returned from their respective injuries at the RAW taping. Cade was out with a separated shoulder while London was suffering from a foot injury.

Triple H did not appear on RAW this week. No word on why just yet. We’ll have more tomorrow.
