– According to a reader report posted on the PWInsider.com pro wrestling website, WWE is now charging sports bars and clubs by the square foot to show their pay-per-view events. One bar owner in the Houston, Texas area said that to show a WWE pay-per-view it would cost in excess of $5,000. As a result, many sports bars no longer carry WWE pay-per-view events. In comparison, UFC charges sports bars less than $1,000 to show an event and as a result, they are carried in almost every major sports bar.
