How Much Did HD Cost WWE?, Vince On Rain At ‘Mania

The reported cost of $20 million for HD in WWE.

Vince McMahon, commenting on Wrestlemania being outdoors this year regarding the weather factor: “We have little concern about the weather. It’s worth the risk. WrestleMania will go on, regardless of the weather.” Number of tickets sold: As of Jan. 14, we’re at 55,562, according to WWE officials.

Jay sent this in: Just thought I’d let you know that I was searching for Against All Odds tickets in Greenville, SC on Feb 10, and it seems there are STILL front row floor seats left as of 5:15 pm on Wednesday January 16. This cannot be good news considering there are less than 25 days left until this PPV. Also, the price of $150 is pretty steep considering this is the first time TNA has come to SC.

Kenny sent this in: I was browsing through comingsoon.net, and came across a film entitled “Wrestlemaniac.” The film is about a group of amateur porn makers who get stranded in Mexico. They are eventually confronted by the undead Rey Mysterio, who is known to rip the faces off of his victims. It sounds almost as bad as a script for Smackdown.

Ben Kerin (wrestling-radio.com) sent this in: Movie star Mickey Rourke was in attendance at Cage of Death IX, taking in the sights and sounds of the Combat Zone to prepare for his upcoming new movie, “The Wrestler”. Mickey was so impressed with CZW and it’s fans that he’s coming back to the New Alhambra for 2 days in February (February 8th and 9th) to film scenes for the upcoming movie, and he wants the CZW fans, and Philadelphia’s great wrestling fans to be a part of it. Here’s the deal.
