Flair Retirement Angle Update, WWE Sale, WWE DVDs, Lashley



For those that think that the Ric Flair retirement angle just may end early at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view against MVP, think again. Flair is scheduled for the WWE RAW house show on February 15th at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California in a match against Ken Kennedy.

This year is scheduled to be a great year for WWE DVDs as they are scheduled to be releasing some great products. The first Superstar DVD being released this year will be ‘The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin’ with 3 discs and a 540 minute running time, on February 12th. ‘Triple H: King of Kings’ is scheduled to be released soon after on March 25th, the DVD will be a two disc set DVD with a running time of 360 minutes. ‘The Life & Times of Mr Perfect’ will also be a two disc set DVD with the same running and is scheduled to be released on September 9th. A three disc, 540 minute DVD set on The Rock titled ‘The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment’ will be released on June 3rd, and on July 8th, ‘The Best Of Starrcade’ will be released. On October 7th ‘Complete Hell’ is scheduled to be released featuring Hell in a Cell matches and on November 18th ‘Randy Savage: Macho Madness’ is scheduled to be released. Both DVDs will all have 3 discs and a running time of 540 minutes. SummerSlam is also scheduled to be joining the ‘Anthology’ box sets with 20 discs and 3,600 minutes on August 5th.

As noted several days ago here on the site, Bobby Lashley is due back from shoulder surgery any week now.

WWE reported a heavy increase in web site orders averaging 1,267 a day in November, up from averaging 620 a day in October. The final December numbers are not in yet, but are expected to be even higher.
