RAW Rating Is In, Reason Savage/Sting DVDs Were Axed

RAW did a 3.6 rating this week.

According to the Wrestling Observer the Sting and Randy Savage DVDs that were scheduled for release this year are cancelled. Kevin Dunn was told to create a list of “big names” that WWE could release DVDs for. Among the other names he came up with were Steve Austin, The Rock and Mr. Perfect. Vince McMahon nixed the Sting and Savage DVDs because he still wants nothing to do with Savage and Sting recently signed a new deal with TNA.

As reported earlier, TNA talent were told prior to the Final Resolution pay-per-view that drug testing would be conducted at next week’s iMPACT! tapings. However, it should also be noted that they never said anything about penalties for failing.
