Kaz Note, More WWE/HD News, Austin, & Lots More Notes

This weekend’s New York Times contained a feature that examined how several top male “action” celebrities have managed to stay in the public eye for over 20 years. Hulk Hogan, Sylvester Stalone and Chuck Norris were the 3 main subjects. They article went in-depth about Hogan’s transition from pro wrestler to reality star & host of a hit network show.

The Miami Herald has an interview with Kaz at miamiherald.com.

Multichannel News has an article up looking at the WWE’s switch to HD in the coming weeks. The article stated quote, “The company recently completed $20 million HD renovation of its Stanford, Conn. Television studios, allowing the WWE to broadcast in HD.”

John Attard sent this in: Just a couple notes on the new Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD. Inside the cover it says that on disc 3 as a extra, the Redneck Triathalon from Bad Blood 2003 would be there, but it isn’t on the disc. And if there is anyone thinking of buying the DVD, I would highly recommend it, Stone Cold hosts the DVD from start to end and it is a must have in any wrestling fans DVD collection.

WZR IS BACK TONIGHT: Rob Van Dam and Leticia Cline will be the guests on the return edition of WrestleZone Radio tonight from 7-9 PM EST. I (Ryan Clark) will be on the show on a weekly basis as well to run down all the latest news and rumors. This is going to be a lot of fun each week and the fan response to the show returning has been amazing already. The show used to be the biggest online wrestling radio show back in its heyday and will almost surely take that spot once again with the amount of promotion we will be giving it. I’m thrilled that this show is coming back and proud to be a part of it once again. More information on the show can be found at this link. I know they have Kip James, Christy Hemme, and Marty Janetty all booked for the show in the next two or three weeks so it’s off to a great start. It’s tonight from 7-9 PM EST at http://wrestlezone.com/radio/
