New Japan Stars To TNA, Y2J/TNA Backstage News, Killings/WWE

Several New Japan Pro Wrestling stars are expected to work with TNA later this month according to Mike Johnson of the Professional Wrestling Insider.

TNA executives really tried hard to sign Chris Jericho even after he appeared with other WWE superstars on Larry King Live this past summer. The idea was to have Jericho debut on the first-ever two hour episode of Impact. However, as we all know, a deal was never made and Jericho ended up back in WWE. We are able to confirm that TNA never made Jericho a big money offer.

Former TNA wrestler Ron “The Truth” Killings is in talks with WWE officials about possibly joining the company. A deal has yet to be reached, but Killings has indeed been offered a contract. More than likely, he’s going to end up back in WWE in the near future.
